The Sony FX5 Full-Frame Cinema Camera is a Sony E-mount cinema camera featuring a 16.6 megapixel full-frame stacked CMOS sensor with 5K Open Gate recording and approximately 16 stops of dynamic range. The FX5 can record internally up to 4K 120fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 XAVC and supports internal 16-bit X-OCN RAW recording. It also features Triple Base ISO (800 / 4000 / 12800) and advanced AI-powered autofocus. The FX5 includes dual CFexpress Type A / SD card slots, HDMI output, USB-C connectivity, and professional audio support via the optional XLR handle. It also features False Color monitoring, a 3.5-inch articulating LCD, and Sony's latest Cinema Line menu system.
