Sound Devices MixPre-3 II Audio Recorder/Mixer

The Sound Devices MixPre-3 II is a field recorder. With this recorder you can connect and record up to three external microphones, but you can also record a stereo mix up to 32-bit/192kHz. With a max bit depth of 32bit, you can do a lot in terms of audio editing in post. Each of the three channels can be monitored and individually adjusted with the physical knobs. Furthermore, the recorder has an internal timecode generator, as well as polarity, low-cut and pan controls. In addition to recording with an SD card, you can also make a backup recording via a USB thumb drive. The recorder can be powered with the included 4x AA batteries or by mains power. Finally, the recorder weighs only 0.5kg (without batteries) and its dimensions are 144 x 36 x 110 mm.
