De Sony FX6 Full-Frame Cinema Camera is een Sony E mount Cinema/ENG camera met een 12,9 megapixel full frame CMOS sensor (35,7 x 18,8 mm). De sensor heeft een dynamisch bereik van 15+ stops. De FX6 kan intern opnamen maken tot 59,94 fps 4K 4:2:2 10-bit in XAVC-I (h.264). Extern kan hij tot 16-bits 4K RAW opnemen. De FX6 heeft ingebouwde ND-filters, een CF Express kaartsleuf, een SDXC kaartsleuf, twee XLR uitgangen, een 12G-SDI en een HDMI uitgang. De Sony FX6 weegt 890 gram en is 153 x 116 x 114 mm.
