Sony combines G Master performance with the lightest and smallest form factor in its class, completing its trio of f/2.8 G Master zoom lenses with the latest wide-angle offering for videographers and photographers: the FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II lens. This lens offers a range of optical, focusing and handling improvements, such as extremely fast autofocus. Thanks to an all-new optical design, the Mark II lens is significantly lighter than its predecessor, the Mark I, with a weight reduction of approximately 20%. In addition, the Mark II lens is now 10.1 mm shorter in length than the Mark I.
