Sony BURANO

The Sony BURANO is the latest addition to the Sony CineAlta line. Designed specifically for mobile solo cinema-style shooting, this digital movie camera offers shooting up to 8.6K in a compact, full-frame form. Unique in-camera stabilization for both E-mount and PL-mount lenses (PL-mount: 3-axis, E-mount: 5-axis), Fast Hybrid Autofocus and an electronically variable ND filter enhance one-person shooting and allow for seamless image adjustments. In terms of quality, you can place the BURANO between the Sony VENICE II and Sony FX9. Both cameras are very matchable with the BURANO in terms of picture anyway. The camera's 8.6K CMOS sensor offers a wide dynamic range of 16 stops and delivers superior images with minimal noise, even in conditions ranging from low light to bright sunlight. Dual-base 800/3200 ISOs allow the BURANO to excel in low-light HDR shooting. The BURANO camera's autofocus options, available with Sony E-mount lenses, include Fast Hybrid AF (phase detection/contrast detection AF) and Human Eye AF for accurate shots of fast-moving subjects, even when working alone. The PL mount is compatible with all Super35 and full-frame PL lenses and also supports Cooke/i technology for frame-by-frame metadata and ZEISS eXtended Data.
