Rode NTG1

The Rode NTG1 Shotgun Microphone is a directional microphone that has been specially developed for capturing sound for film, television and voice-overs. Despite its robust design, the microphone is remarkably light, making it perfect for use with a video camera. The NTG1 has a Super Cardioid polar pattern and a built-in high-pass filter (80 Hz, 12 dB/octave). With a dynamic range of 121 dB and a power supply of 24 to 48 V (phantom power required), the microphone weighs only 105 grams.
